Training in the Humanization of Pediatric Pain Management

PedCARE is an open academic platform that integrates courses, resources, and collaboration among universities in Europe, Africa, and Latin America to improve skills in addressing pediatric pain from a humanized, technological, and evidence-based perspective. It incorporates an academic social network, multimedia content, and tools such as interactive videos and chatbots to guide learning.

To train faculty, professionals, and students in the health sciences in the assessment, communication, and comprehensive treatment of pediatric pain (acute and chronic), promoting complementary ethical and non-pharmacological practices, and strengthening connectivity and collaborative work among institutions.

To create a sustainable and open learning ecosystem where each institution can develop and share applied knowledge about pediatric pain—supported by the PedCARE platform—and extend it to the community and non-academic settings.
